Key rights under Directive (EU) 2015/2302
Before concluding the package travel contract, travellers will receive all essential information about the package.
There is always at least one trader responsible for the proper performance of all travel services included in the contract.
Travellers are provided with an emergency telephone number or contact details enabling them to contact the organiser or travel agent.

Travellers may transfer the package to another person by giving reasonable notice, possibly subject to additional costs.
The price of the package may be increased only if specific costs rise (for example, fuel costs) and this possibility is expressly provided for in the contract; in any event, no price increase may occur later than 20 days before the start of the package. If the increase exceeds 8% of the package price, the traveller may terminate the contract. If the organiser reserves the right to increase the price, the traveller is entitled to a price reduction if the relevant costs decrease.
Travellers may terminate the contract without paying any termination fee and receive a full refund of all payments if any essential element of the package, other than the price, is significantly changed. If the organiser cancels the package before it starts, travellers are entitled to a refund and, where appropriate, compensation.
In exceptional circumstances — for example, where there are serious safety problems at the destination which are likely to affect the package — travellers may terminate the contract before the start of the package without paying any termination fee.
In addition, travellers may terminate the contract at any time before the start of the package upon payment of an appropriate and justifiable termination fee.
If, after the start of the package, significant elements cannot be provided as agreed, suitable alternative arrangements must be offered to the traveller at no extra cost. If the services are not performed in accordance with the contract and this substantially affects the performance of the package, and the organiser fails to remedy the problem, travellers may terminate the contract without paying a termination fee.
Travellers are also entitled to a price reduction or compensation for damages where travel services are not performed or are improperly performed.

The organiser must provide assistance to a traveller in difficulty.
If the organiser becomes insolvent, payments will be refunded. If the organiser becomes insolvent after the start of the package and the package includes transport, repatriation of travellers is ensured.
